Salt Lake Regional Medical Center


Salt Lake Regional Medical Center (SLRM), built in 1875, was one of the first hospital facilities in the Salt Lake Valley. The hospital has been enlarged and remodeled on several occasions over the last 125 years. The facility has 200 beds with more than 500 physicians on its active, associate and courtesy staffs, and has more than 400 employees serving the needs of patient care.

Salt Lake Regional Medical Center has established itself in providing quality service in cardiology, rehabilitation medicine, oncology brachytherapy, OB/GYN, neurosurgery, senior health, orthopedics, pulmonary medicine, urology, women's services, gastro-internal medicine, infectious disease management, diabetes treatment programs, and emergency/trauma services.

The ED has 15 beds consisting of three cardiac, two abominal, three laceration/MVAs, two ortho/casting, two GYN, one eye/dental, and one psych. SLRM ED sees approximately 15,000 visits per year.
